CarboLex was conceived in the Advanced Science and Technology Commercialization Center at the University of Kentucky in Lexington. CarboLex is now a self-sufficient, off-campus company providing carbon nanotubes to clients worldwide. |
| CarboLex was formed on the 1st of June, 1998 in Lexington, KY, motivated by the idea that our production technique would bring high-quality, single-walled carbon nanotubes to the market at prices suited to realistic research budgets, thereby seeding the growth of related nanotechnology applications. |
| The research team at CarboLex is led by Peter Eklund, (PhD, Solid-State Physics) - also a faculty member at Penn State University. |
